Get to know the band:

Hello and welcome to Travelers Highway's website! I'm bandleader, Liv. ^_^

I was born and raised in the space coast of Florida and have been on a farm for all my life. I am one of four siblings along with my two parents...we have had a rough but good life. Growing up in a Christian home I became a believer at a young age and am studying His Word in college. I have been so blessed.

I have previous experience with bands due to the family band I was a part of for almost six years: the Stone family Band (http://www.stonefamilyband.com). Since the band has ended, I have started college and have missed playing music with others which is the reason I had the idea for this band. I have been playing guitar and piano since I was 8 and started playing mandolin and bodhran when I was 12. I have since started playing the upright bass, irish banjo, and cajon, all the while singing to my heart's content. Music has been my joy throughout my life and I am so excited to share in this band with these amazing people! What Blessings!

I play mandolin and guitar while singing lead vocals in the band.

My name is Jessica Woodroof and I am left handed. :)

I'm from the Pacific Northwest, specifically Spokane, Washington. Before Spokane, I moved around a lot being a worship pastor's kid. I've grown up in a loud and musical family which I love! I was raised by wonderful Christian parents who taught me the importance of living for God. My passions are working with kids, music, and missions and I hope to use those passions on the mission field, wherever and whenever that may be. God brought me to college in Sanford, Florida. This is my first year, and I am loving every moment. I've sung in choir at church since I was a little kid from children's musicals to the adult Christmas musical each year. At school, I've sung in the high school choir and select choirs. Singing has always just been something I love to do for fun, wherever I am. Liv and I break out into song all the time. This past summer I started to play the uke. I am thankful that God has given me a passion for music, and it is my desire to bring glory to Him through my singing and playing. I'm excited to be a part of this band...I've never been in one before.

In the band I play ukulele and bring in harmony vocals.

My name is Caleb Meyers and I have always been a lover of music!

While my parents weren't exactly musicians, they were music lovers. I grew up listening to everything from hardcore punk (dad) to country music (mom) and have found myself at home in the indie folk scene. I have played guitar in my church worship team for two years and was part of Brightest Heaven of Invention (a small student band in high school). I love to write my own music and hope to use it to the glory of God. I have recently picked up the bass guitar and am honing my talent in every day! God’s providence has brought me to this great college in Florida where I am pursuing my Bachelor’s in Theological Studies and growing in my faith with my professors and classmates. My dream is to go into the foreign mission field but I am ready for wherever the Lord takes me.
In the band I play mainly bass, help with vocals, and some guitar.

My name is Henry Oestreich and I'm from Pennsylvania.

My mother taught me piano as a child and ever since I’ve enjoyed sitting down and improvising for fun. I tried guitar, trumpet, and a standarddrum set, but none of these stuck. Then I found the Cajon. I have been playingthe Cajon for about 3 years now. I began playing when I was in another band inPennsylvania. I taught myself how to drum after being annoyed at another personand their bad drumming. I currently play the piano, cajon, and love to sing.
In the band I play cajon and help with vocals.

  1. I just got home from a camp where I met Olivia and she told me about the band. I just read your bios and heard the snippet on YouTube. God bless you guys as you seek to glorify God through your music. And God bless each of you as you study and seek to prepare yourself for serving the Lord. Perhaps some day I'll see you in Sanford.
